The inventory of homes for sale in the Orlando area showed its greatest percentage of decrease again in 2018, making a second consecutive month of slower sales. Buyer demand is still boosting the Central Florida area’s median price. If you are buying, keep in mind that you are in heavy competition with other buyers and that you will need to bring a strong offer. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t deals to be had. It just means that you might want to bring an offer with an escalation clause. Likewise, if selling your home, a bump clause might help you to get a higher selling price.
